Aurora Ozone Hotel Kangaroo Island, Kingscote

The hotel had its highs and lows. It's in a noisy location, possibly due to a generator or aircon unit, but it offers a great spot for sundowners and contemplating the day's activities on the beachfront. The room was spacious with ample cupboard space and a good breakfast selection. The hotel is conveniently located near the main shopping area of Kingscote, Kangaroo Island's largest town.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit old, but overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was excellent, especially in the dining room. The location was perfect for my needs, and the beachfront view was wonderful.

The hotel rooms needed a whole makeover and had an old smoked-in smell, which was disappointing. They were located in a separate building across the road from the main hotel facilities. However, the service was exceptional, especially considering the challenging circumstances, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The location was great, right by the sea with a beach nearby, but the dining experience was a bit confusing with limited staff availability. Overall, the facilities met our needs during our stay.
